Lesson with illustration
An image often tells much more than a text.
Images can come from libraries, such as the clipart’s of PowerPoint or from personal sources.
One can create images from schemas realised in PowerPoint. To transform a PowerPoint schema into an image, proceed as follows:
- click with the right button of the mouse on the schema (grouped objects), and then on the command Register as image
- select the folder image
- choose the type of file gif, jpg or png
- give a meaningful name to the image which was obtained
Watch out the weight of the images! They can weigh considerably on the module.
See to it that each image does not go beyond 150 Ko.
To do that, register the images in the appropriate format:
- if the image is complex and contains a lot of colours, choose the jpg format
- if the image has transparency and/or few colours, choose the format gif or png
If necessary, make use of an image editing software of Photoshop type or Photoshop Elements to compress the images and in this way to diminish their weight.
