To prevent discrepancies in myTeacher, we recommend that you never make use of the arrangement Title and text (this one which contains list of bullets), but that you always insert an area of text in a slide of Title alone.

All the values here below can be modified; the most important is that they are defined and respected according to the established convention. The options of the area of text can be found in the dialogue boxes specific to the area of text.

Policy and alignment of the area of text

In the dialogue box Policy, is defined:

• the policy: choose by default the policy Verdana which is perfectly adapted for display on the Web
• the size of the policy: 12pt minimum for a standard text
• the colour: make use of a dark colour, very contrasted with the background of the slide (preferably white)

Colours and lines of the zone of text

In the properties of the area of text, we define:

• the filling colour of the area
• the colour and the  line style

It is possible to specify "no filling" for the filling colour.

• the size of the area of text:
  • the width is variable but the maximum width is fixed at 26 cm
  • the height is variable but the maximum height is fixed at 18 cm and even limited to 16 cm if one makes use of a memo
• the position of the area of text:
  • horizontal position: 0.7 cm is recommended
  • vertical position: 2 cm minimum is recommended

For the area of text, is defined:

• the anchor point of the text: it is fixed at Top
• the inside margins: they are fixed at 0.3 cm to the left, on top, at the bottom and at 0.8 cm to the right.

Interline

In the options of paragraph, fix:

• the interline at 1.1 line
• the space before the paragraph at 0.9 line (10.8pt for writing of 12 pt and 12.6 pt for a writing of 14 pt)
• the space after the paragraph at 0 line

For the space before, it is not possible to put a number of lines; hence, for a writing policy of 12pt, one must put 10.8pt and for a writing of 14 pt, 12.6pt.

When converting HTML5, the alignment justified is not correctly interpreted. The same goes for the policies others than Verdana.
